With my hands I tell stories of memory and death. I create textiles and collect evidence through ritual processes of weaving, embroidery, and photography. I materialize the immaterial. Employing conductive, connective, shape shifting and archival materials, I investigate ways of creating spaces and vessels for the body as well as methods of preservation. Embedded within these textiles and photographs, historical narratives and biographical histories can be found uniting the past with the present. It is from these meditative and heavily processed based mediums that I am able to work with my hands as I embark on an exploration of personal identity.
